A Burrito Is a Burrito!

News & Nonsense: The trick is to tell which is which.

A Massachusetts judge has ruled a burrito is not a sandwich. Apparently now that gay marriage isn't such a big issue, pretty much anything can get on the docket. (Jim Barach)

The Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch became the first Texas city to pass tough anti-immigration measures and make English the official language. Which seems a bit strange since many Farmers Branch residents only speak Farmer.

New Laughs

Picked this one up from funny buddy Jake Novak: CNN Warp

Looks like even serious guys are jumping into the nonsense business. Great! The more the funnier.

News that Matters:

Rummy's still got problems. Der Spiegel says some want him tried for war crimes.

Editorial: Taming the Federal Beast - One of these days we're going to wish we'd paid more attention to David Walker. Walker is the nation's comptroller general - basically America's top accountant. And he speaks with all the fervor of an evangelist on his favorite topic: the coming train wreck that is federal finances.

To Be Equal - More blacks are entering college, but fewer are graduating.

Inside People: Nutrition Fiction - On your mark. Get set. Gobble: Time to let out the belt a notch and hide the bathroom scale. Eating season is in high gear. And it's high time to separate nutrition fiction from fact.

And, of course, more fun stuff;

Today's Scene: Turkey Trivia - Gather 'round, pilgrims, and test your knowledge of Turkey Day trivia.

Shallow Thoughts

Don't you find it depressing that almost everyday somebody announces a new drug for depression?

If American adults are drinking less alcohol while their children are drinking more, don't we need a designated driver to drive beer commercials off TV?

Boy, they’re handing down tough sentences at the court house. One drunk driver actually got 90 days at hard probation.

So, when do you think we can expect the launching of the Senior Nintendo Tour?
