This Is a Serious Blog!
Sometimes I think maybe I will write like other folks. Maybe do a serious column giving my thoughts about President Bush. Everybody else is doing it.
My problem is I feel sorry for President Bush. The guy is President of the United States and he's not even qualified to be governor of Texas.
I blame Texans. Most Texans never vote. And the others don't have a clue who they're voting for. Never have. They always vote for the candidate they've heard of. Like, Ralph Yarborough was a senator from Texas for 200 years and everybody knew him. So when another guy named Yarborough ran for the State Supreme Court, everybody voted for him. The fact the guy couldn't serve because he was a convicted felon didn't matter at all.
Bubba Joe Bush could be elected governor of Texas. All she's got to do is run.
See, that's my problem. I can't be serious long enough to be serious.
Big News

Newt Gingrich and Fred Thompson are hinting they likely will enter the presidential race. That makes something like 10 Republicans running for President. There would be more, but the rest of the Republicans will be too busy patrolling the border.
Now, today's severe weather safety tip from our resident weather expert, Galen Storm. Galen advises, in case of a tornado warning, be prepared to move to a place of safety. Like, for example, Peru!

Remember, never put all your bath water in one basket.
You know it's time to do the laundry when your socks start tap dancing by themselves.
I don't have cable. I figure I already have plenty of channels not to watch.

I wonder how God did all this, without a computer. Good heavens, maybe that's where the apple came from!
