No Chance, Osama!

Eleven Sunni insurgent groups have offered an immediate halt to all attacks in Iraq if the U. S. agrees to withdraw foreign forces from Iraq in two years. The White House didn't immediately respond. Halliburton's phone was busy.

Actor Gary Busey was born on June 29th in 1944. He almost died in a motorcycle accident in 1988. Now he wears a helmet. He decided that "helmet hair" is better than "asphalt hair."

Elizabeth Dole was born on June 29th in 1936. There for a while Republicans were thinking Elizabeth might make a good president, but they decided on Junior Bush instead. He’s not quite as pretty but almost.

Peter Paul Reubens was born on June 29th in 1577. He was the famous fat nude lady painter. He painted pictures of fat nude ladies. And he was widely acclaimed because he could do it with a straight face.

The great French writer and World War II aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery was born on June 29th in 1900. Before dying in the war, Saint-Exupery wrote the classic fable The Little Prince, a work so philosophically and theologically deep that only children seem to fully understand it.
